I’m going on two years mostly strict carnivore BBBE. I swear I’m aging backwards. Two years ago I needed help getting out of bed. Now I wake 3:58 4:04 up feeling like Wonder Woman lol. And I’m always happy and 0 Rx’s including opioids and antidepressants. I wish doctors were not under the influence of big food and Pharma corporations
When i was in hospital after two MIs and two surgeries in six days, my cardiologist told me i was doing everything right because i was a vegetarian and was taking my statin like a good little patient. Two MIs!!! I fired my doc and quit the statin and started keto. I was always afraid to contradict my doc before that.
My Dad had a bypass. The Canadian Heart Association hands out GUIDELINES and we followed them all - and they were all wrong: limit salt, limit fat, eat grains, use canola oil, buy low fat products, eat more veggies and fruit, avoid red meat, eat heart-healthy cheerios (LOL, but I'm serious it was a recommended product for breakfast, limit eggs, ....ALL WRONG. We did this on their recommendation - it hurt him and every one of us who supported him. I'm carnivore now since last year. No more main stream advice because I trust the testimonials from all the people who tell REAL stories of how it's helped them. I don't have issues - I just want to stay healthy. The best to you all. My beloved wife died ten years ago from diabetic complications. We trusted and followed the doctors and the "Standard of Care Protocols". Two years later, I discovered, I was also a type 2 Diabetic( high insulin resistance). I choose the ketogenic lifestyle and have been following it every since. I am most carnivore now despite all of the doctors, cardiologist, family, and friends warning me that it would kill me. I have shed over 160lbs, put my diabetes in remission, and strive every day to maximize my metabolic health. I am so appreciate of the many doctors who now advocate and support this lifestyle.
