How Much Do Doctors Know About Nutrition, since "we are what we eat"? Big Pharmacy, Big Medical & Nutrition Schools, Big Foods & MASS MEDIA KEEP US IGNORANT, CAUSING MASS OBESITY & early deaths.

@trevorregay9283 3 months ago Another true story: My wife fainted a couple years back while we were on vacation in Florida. They took her to the hospital and kept her there running all kinds of crazy tests telling us she was having a heart attack or a blood clot or some other crazy diagnosis, yet all the test were coming up negative and showed she was not getting worse or whatever they check in your blood to see if you are suffering from a slow heart disease event or stroke. Anyway, it became obvious to us the Hospital and these doctors were merely trying to keep us in the hospital to run all kinds of unnecessary tests to make money from us and the insurance company. We finally decided to demand to be discharged and go against medical advice to stay in the hospital to have more unnecessary test run. They tried their best to convince us it was a mistake to leave and that her death would be on us. But we held firm and demanded to be allowed to leave. As a last straw, they had the head Cardiologist pay us a visit......LOL!....This guy looked like a walking heart attack!!! He could barely walk, he actually shuffled, he was probably in his forties, and he must have weighed around 300 lbs......LOL!....anyway, all the more reason we wanted to get the heck out of that hospital after discussing her condition with him.....I hope for his sake he is still alive and if he is, he is probably on so much medication to offset his poor diet. ...........................@KJSvitko 3 months ago Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.
